Rochester Cemetery is owned and operated by Rochester Cemetery Association. Franklin Street separates the older North side of the cemetery from the South side.
Lot Sales/Interment Rights can be purchased from the cemetery superintendent.
Each Full-size grave can accommodate a casket and up to 2 cremation urns. Single and Double grave lots can accommodate a flat marker only. We also have granite Columbarium Niches available for cremation burials with which can hold up to 2 urns.
*Please note that the purchase of a burial lot does not mean you have ownership of the land. It gives you and whomever you assign burial rights within the lot.
Burials can be scheduled: Mon-Fri - 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Saturdays for an additional charge.

Cemetery Rules and Regulations
*Memorial Day Flowers allowed 10 days before Memorial Day and must be removed by June 10th. Only lots that have monuments with extended bases or cement pads on the side of the monument will be allowed to display flowers after June 10.
*No Planting of Shrubs, Trees, Plants or Flowers on any grave.
*No Trinkets, Vigil Lights, Toys, Photos, Glass Containers, Potted Plants, etc. on any grave. Items that do not conform with the rules and regulations will be removed by the cemetery staff.
*No Food or Beverages are allowed on cemetery grounds.
*The cemetery is a carry in/carry out cemetery, please
take what you brought in with you including flower/plant clippings.
*No Dogs Allowed.
*Cemetery closes at dusk
